There is no burial register information available for Edward D. Collins.

Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Edward D Collins
c1827-1862
(All records apart from the NRC Burial Accounts record Edward as Edwin.) Edwin was born in Speenhamland Newbury he was baptised (as Edwin Collins, no middle name) on the 4th February 1827 at St Mary’s Speenhamland and was the son of Edward and Hannah Collins (nee Knapp) who married in July 1811 in Blewbury Berkshire. Hannah was born c1793 (baptised 22nd December 1793 in Blewbury, daughter of George and Susanna Knapp (nee Dandridge), Edward was born c1790 (place unknown).
The 1841 census records Edward (42 (age mistranscribed ), Hannah (55), Clarissa (15), Ellan (14) (Edwin), Susan (12), Henry (8), Alexander (6) and Emanuel (3), living in London Road Newbury.
Edwin’s father died aged 58 in 1848 he was buried on the 24th November at St Nicolas Newbury.
The 1851 census records Hannah (57) as a Millwright’s Widow living in Old Newtown Road Newbury with her sons, Henry (18), Millwright, Alexander (16) and Emanuel (14)
Hannah died aged 62 in 1856 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 27th April. (NBI records burial date as 26th April)
Edwin married twice his 1st marriage took place in Reading in 1846 (name recorded as Edwin Dandridge Collins), he married again in 1849 as Edwin Collins.

Fathers: Daniel New and Edward Collins (Edward was a Millwright)
Witnesses: Daniel Challis and Martha Stillman
Edwin and Martha had the following children:

Annie 1861
In both the 1851 and 1861 census records the family were recorded living in Pleasant Place Newbury, in the 1861 census Edwin was recorded as an Engineer and Master employing 2 men.
Edwin died in 1862 (death registered as Edwin Danbridge Collins) he was laid to rest in the Newtown Cemetery on the 31st October. (GRO has age at death as 33 NBI has age at death as 34).
In the 1871 census Martha (40), Dressmaker, Agnes (19), Dressmaker, Brice (11) and Annie (9) were recorded living in Edward Cottages Newbury.
Martha died aged 49 in 1876 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 1st March
