There is no burial register information available for John Pike.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
This information is taken from the accounts ledgers of the Newbury Cemetery Company that originally ran and maintained the cemetery.

John Pike
1862-1862
John was born in Newbury he was the son of John and Mary Ann (married as Marianne) Pike (nee Curtis) who married in Newbury in 1859. His father was born c1835 in Chieveley Berkshire and was a Labourer and his mother Mary Ann was born c1839 in Newbury.
In 1861 John and Mary were living in Shaw Road Speenhamland Newbury.
John died aged 1 day and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 20th September.
John had a sister Mary Ann born in 1863 but sadly both his mother and sister passed away not long after Mary Ann was born. Both were buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery, his mother was laid to rest on the 15th August and his sister was laid to rest on the 25th August. His father John died 3 months later and was laid to rest on the 12th November in St Mary the Virgin Chieveley .
