There is no burial register information available for John Parker.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
South face of copestone: In Blessed Memory of/ John Parker/ who died April 26th.1862 aged 45 years./ "Leave thy fatherless children ..... And let thy widow...." South facing pedestal: In Loving Memory of Caroline, his wife, who died April 29th. 1895 aged 74 years. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord that they may rest from their labours." John Parker
c1817-1862
John was born in Newbury he married Caroline Richens (born c1821 in Welford) in 1846 in Newbury and they had the following children:

Caroline Eva 1854
Emily Sarah 1857
John was a Grocer, Wine and Spirit Merchant, he was recorded in the 1851 and 1861 census living in Bartholomew Street Newbury, in 1851 he was employing 4 men and in 1861, 5 men.
John died aged 45 on the 26th April 1862 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 29th April.
Their so Frederick William died aged 28 on the 8th February 1880 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery with his father on the 13th February
Caroline continued living in Bartholomew Street and was recorded in both the 1881 and 1891 census records as a Grocer she died aged 74 on the 29th April 1895 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 4th May.
