Kate Adnams

1861-1862

 

Kate was born in Newbury she was the daughter of William and Caroline Adnams (nee Hillier) who were married in Exeter in 1851. Her father was born c1829 in Thatcham and her mother was born c1834 in Ecchingswell Hampshire.

Other children of William and Caroline were:

Louisa 1856-1856 Newbury (buried in the NRC 24th Dec 1856)

Arthur c1858-1872 Newbury

Edward 1859-1860 Newbury (buried in the NRC 4th May 1860)

Matilda 1865-1866 Newbury (buried in the NRC 10th Nov 1866)

Horace 1866-1866-1866 Newbury (buried in the NRC 17th Nov 1866)

Brice c1868 Newbury

Alice 1870 Newbury

 

Kate died aged 1 in 1862 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 19th February.

In the 1871 census her parents, brothers Arthur (12), Brice (4) and his sister Alice (4 months) were recorded living in Greenham Street Greenham, her father was recorded as a Rod Grower (5 Acres).
