There is no burial register information available for Ann Lane.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Ann Lane
c1829-1862
Ann Sloper was born in Devizes Wiltshire.
The 1861 census records Ann (38) living in Northcroft Lane Lodging House, Newbury with her husband William (51) (born in County Cork Ireland), Elizabeth Lane (12), (born in Cork Ireland), Mary A (10), Jane (8), Edmund (4) (recorded as Edward) and Ellen (2) (all born in Newbury). William was recorded as a Lodging House Keeper.
(Possible marriage December quarter, 1855, Newbury, Hannah Sloper + William Lain)
Ann died in 1862 (age at death recorded as 33), she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 19th February.
In 1871 William (60) was again recorded as a Lodging House Keeper. He was living with his new “wife” (no marriage found) Alice (49) (born in Limerick Ireland), John Myers (30) (Alice’s son) a soldier, of 14th Foot, his son Edmund (14), his daughter Ellen (11) and 19 lodgers in Rose & Thistle Yard, Newbury.
William died aged 65 in 1871 (death registered in Newbury)
