Arthur Fisher

1861-1862

Arthur was born in Newbury in 1861 he was the son of Ashley & Elizabeth Fisher (nee Rowles) who married in Newbury in 1854.

Arthur’s siblings were:

Emily Jessie c1882-1883 (buried 30/5/1883 in the Newtown Road Cemetery)

Arthur’s father worked as a Bricklayer and the family lived in Newbury, Quaker’s Burial Ground Cheap Street in 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891, Mayor’s Lane in 1901 and Coxedd & Pearce’s Almshouses Enborne Road in 1911

Arthur died aged 0 in 1862 he was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15^th January

His mother Elizabeth died aged 75 in 1911 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 8^th July

His father Ashley died aged 93 in 1924 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road cemetery on the 6^th March.
