Arthur was born in Newbury in 1861 he was the son of Ashley & Elizabeth Fisher (nee Rowles) who married in Newbury in 1854.

Arthur’s father worked as a Bricklayer and the family lived in Newbury, Quaker’s Burial Ground Cheap Street in 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891, Mayor’s Lane in 1901 and Coxedd & Pearce’s Almshouses Enborne Road in 1911
Arthur died aged 0 in 1862 he was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15th January
His mother Elizabeth died aged 75 in 1911 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 8th July
His father Ashley died aged 93 in 1924 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road cemetery on the 6th March.
