There is no burial register information available for John Hughes.

John Hughes
c1789-1861
John was born in Newbury he was baptised on the 12th February 1790 at St Nicolas Church Newbury the son of Thomas and Sarah Hughes (nee Morrell) who were married at St Nicolas Church on the 8th March 1784.
Thomas and Sarah also had the following children baptised at St Nicolas Church:
Jane baptised 27th December 1784
Thomas baptised 23rd June 1786
William baptised 19th April 1793
John’s father was born c1753 he died aged 74 and was buried on the 19th February 1827 at St Nicolas Newbury
His mother was born c1763 she died aged 74 and was buried on the 29th November 1837 at St Nicolas Newbury.
In 1815 John’s parents Thomas (65) and Sarah (52) were living in Gibbs Yard on the east side of Bartholomew Street Newbury also living with them were their grandsons James Marsh (8) (son of their daughter Jane and her husband George Marsh) and Thomas Hughes (2)
John in later life:
John married Mary Vincent on the 3rd August 1812 at St Mary the Virgin Speen Berkshire
In 1815 John (23) and Mary (20) were living on the west side of Newtown Lane Newbury John was working as a Sawyer.
They had the following children baptised at St Nicolas Church Newbury:
Henry baptised 29th September 1813 (father recorded as a Sawyer, abode: Newtown Lane Newbury)
Francis baptised 21st June 1815 (father recorded as a Sawyer)
Ann baptised 23rd August 1820 (father recorded as a Sawyer)
The 1841 census records John (48), Mary (40), their son Francis (20), their daughter-in-law Ann (20) and their grandson James (1), living in (illegible) Yard Bartholomew Street Newbury (family name recorded as Angles on Ancestry).
The 1861 census records John (70) as a Widower, Almsman formerly a Labourer living in St Bartholomew’s Almshouses Newbury
John died aged 72 in 1861 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 11th December
