There is no burial register information available for George Spender.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

George Spender
c1794-1861
George was born c1794 in Hinton Wiltshire. He married Phoebe Picket on the 17th January 1818 in Romsey Hampshire.
George was an Agricultural Labourer. They lived in Whitchurch Hampshire until at least 1851 but by 1861 they were living in Northcroft Lane Newbury, George working as an Ostler and Phoebe a Laundress.
George died aged 67 in 1861 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 24th August.
Phoebe continued living at Northcroft Lane until at least 1871 she died aged 84 in 1879 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 11th February.
