Sarah Buckeridge
c1816-1861
Sarah was born in Axford (in the civil parish of Ramsbury Wiltshire) she was baptised on the 16th June 1816 in Mildenhall Wiltshire and was the daughter of Philip and Ann Watts (nee Trueman) who were married on the 4th August 1811 at St Mary Marlborough Wiltshire. Philip was recorded as a Miller on the earlier baptism records of his children later baptism records record him as a Farmer.

George and Sarah had the following children:

In 1841 George (25), Sarah (25) their daughter Sarah (1) and an Elizabeth Buckeridge (20) were living in Northbrook Street Newbury.
The 1851 census records Sarah (35) as a Dressmaker living in Winchcombe Place Newbury with her children, Sarah (11), Elizabeth (9), Phillis (9) and Marian (6 months). George was away from home visiting a Sarah and Thomas Shaft and family in New Street Westminster.
Sarah was still living Winchcombe Place Newbury in 1861, only her daughters, Elizabeth (20) and Lucy (16) were recorded living with her.
Sarah died aged 45 in 1861 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 10th June
