There is no burial register information available for William Pearce.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
This information is taken from the accounts ledgers of the Newbury Cemetery Company that originally ran and maintained the cemetery.

William Pearce
c1775-1860
William was baptised on the 12th February 1775 in Chilton Foliat, Wiltshire the son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Pearce (nee Watkins) who were married in Chilton Foliat on the 29th October 1770. Both were single, Jonathan was recorded as a Labourer.
Jonathan and Elizabeth also had two daughters baptised in Chilton Foliat. Catherine was baptised on the 11th May 1777 and Jane was baptised on the 19th September 1779.
William was a Shoemaker.
In 1841 Wm (60) was living in New Street, Andover, Hampshire with his wife Martha (50) (no marriage found yet!). Sharing the same dwelling were an Ann Watkins (80) and John Pearce (15).
By 1851 William (76) and Martha (64) were living in Robeson’s Yard, Newbury. (Surname was recorded as Peirce on ancestry). Martha’s place of birth was recorded as Stagsden Bedfordshire.
William died aged 85 in 1860, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 1st February.
