Transciption: | MARY JANE BURNINGHAM Funeral of Mrs J C Burningham The death occurred on May 3rd at 7, Montana-terrace, Boundary-road, Newbury, of Mrs J C Burningham, after a short illness. The deceased was well-known and respected. The funeral took place on Friday, the first part of the service being conducted by the Rev.G Glanfield at the Wesleyan Church. Mrs Burningham’s favourite hymn, “Jesu, Lover of my soul” was sung. The mourners were Mr Burningham (son), MrsPurton and Mrs Marshall (daughters), Mr Fred Denniss (brother), Mrs W Kimber (sister), Mrs Burningham (daughter-in-law), Mr Purton and Mr Marshall (sons-in-law), Mr F Cummins (brother-in-law), Miss R Purton (granddaughter), Mrs Liddiard and Mrs Stoneham (nieces), Mr Liddiard and Mrs Chapman. Wreaths sent were from: Her loving Children; Tom, Nell and Ken; Berth, Frank, Denis and Bobby; Edie and Jum; Sarah and Walt; Mr and Mrs Cummins and family (Swindon); Rema; Nellie, Ern and Walter; Ron, Berth and baby Freda; Carrie and George; Ern; Lil, Maidie and Greta; Clara and Fred (Marlston); Maisie and Cyril; Nance; Charlie and Kate (Wales); Gus and Tom (Cricklewood); All neighbours at Montana Terrace; Mr and Mrs Hester and daughters; Mr and Mrs Bailey; |HJose, Alf and Kath; Mr and Mrs Powers and Beat; Mrs A Purton and family; Mr and Mrs Chapman and Babs; Emily; Mr W Swindon; Mr G Holloway; Mr and Mrs Gregory; Mr and Mrs Humphries; Newbury P.S.A; Mrs Turk; Mr and Mrs Gore; Mrs Richmond; Maud and Marvy.
