MARY LOUISA RICE

Death of Mrs. Mary L. Rice

We regret to record the death of Mrs. Mary Louisa Rice, which took place on Tuesday at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. J.L. Ward, “Hughenden,” Enborne-road, Newbury.  Mrs. Rice, who was 86 years of age, had been in failing health for the past twelve months.  She was a sister of Mr. Alfred Camp and for many years kept house for him.  Having lived in Newbury nearly fifty years, she was well-known and beloved by a number of residents, and during the ministry of the Rev. E.H. Titchmarsh was a member of the Congregational Church.

The funeral will take place at 11:30 to-morrow (Friday) morning at the Newtown Road Cemetery.

NNWN 21 April 1932.
