There is no burial register information available for Laura Langton.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
This information is taken from the accounts ledgers of the Newbury Cemetery Company that originally ran and maintained the cemetery.

Laura Langton
c1812 -1859
Laura Abraham(s) was born in Newbury she was the daughter of Joseph & Ann Abraham(s) (nee Clayton) who were married on the 6th September 1806 in Thatcham. Joseph was born c1785 in Newbury and was a Blacksmith and Ann was born c1774 in Newbury.

Sarah Ann c1814
Laura was living at home with her parents in 1841 in Greenhan (Golding’s Yard). She married George Langton (born c1818 in Newbury) in Newbury in 1846 and they had one child, Charles born 1847.
In 1851 they were living in Garland’s Yard and George was working as a Cordwainer.
Laura died aged 47 in 1859 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 31st January.
George remarried in 1860 his 2nd wife was Martha Lewingdon, a widow with one son Frederick born in 1844.
The family were living in Greenham Mills in1861 and St Mary’s Hill Newbury in 1871, by 1881 George & Martha were living at 5 Raymond’s Almshouses Newbury.
George died aged 65 in 1882 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 14th September.
Martha was recorded living at 4 St Mary’s Almshouses in both the 1891 and 1901 census, she died aged 85 in 1903 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 5th May.
