Transciption: | Alfred and Georgina Gore’s son ALFRED was killed in action on 8th October, 1917, aged 30.
Very comprehensive reports of his family and service are included on …
His body lies in the Canada Farm Cemetery in Belgium, along with 908 others, and he is listed on the Newbury War Memorial.
His medals are on show at the Newbury Branch of The Royal British Legion.
Alfred's brothers Fred and Henry also served in the Navy and Army respectively. |
