There is no burial register information available for Jabez Ashley.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Jabez Ashley
1809-1858
Jabez was born on the 18th March 1809 he was baptised on the 24th December 1809 at the Crow Lane Indepentent Wilton Wiltshire he was the son of William & Mary Ashley (nee Gerrish) who married on the 22nd December 1799 in Wilton Wiltshire.
Other children of William & Mary were:
Thomas born 1/1/1807 baptised together with his brother Jabez (father’s occupation: Weaver)
Mary born 7/2/1816 and Harriott born 10/6/1818 both baptised 9/7/1818 by the Wesleyan Methodist Ministers in Southampton Hampshire (father’s occupation: Weaver)
Sophia born 2/9/1820 baptised by the Wesleyan Methodist Ministers Andover Hampshire (father’s occupation: Weaver)
Sarah born c1827 Newbury
William c1829
Jabez was a Painter he married Mary Ann Clack (born c1810 in Newbury) on the 14th May 1832 at St Nicolas Church Newbury.
In 1841 the couple were living in the City Newbury but by 1851 they had moved to Bartholomew Street.
Jabez died aged 49 in 1858 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 7th August.
