There is no burial register information available for Joseph Abrahams.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
This information is taken from the accounts ledgers of the Newbury Cemetery Company that originally ran and maintained the cemetery.

Joseph Abraham
c1785-1858
Joseph Abraham was born in Newbury Berkshire and was a Blacksmith. He married Ann Clayton on the 6th September 1806 at St Mary’s Church Thatcham and they had the following children:
Martha c1807
Isaac c1810
Laura c1812
Sarah Ann c1814
Both the 1841 & 1851 census records record them living in Greenham (Golding’s Yard)
Joseph was widowed in 1857, his wife Ann was buried on 12th May at St Mary’s Church Greenham Berkshire.
Joseph died aged 73 on the 3rd April 1858 at Garland’s Yard St Mary’s Hill Newbury (Cause of Death: Asthma & Decay of Nature) he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 9th April.

ANN ABRAHAMS (Clayton)
Ann Clayton 1774 – 1857. Ann married Joseph Abrahams in 1806 and in the 1851 census they are recorded as living at Goldings Yard, Thatcham. Ann died of decay of nature and her death certificate is included here. She died on 6 |May 1857 and is buried in St Mary’s Churchyard, Thatcham.
