Lucy BRavant

Lucy Bravant

She was born in 1821 in Lambourn, eldest daughter of Thomas Gilman and Esther (nee May). She was baptised on 6 May 1821 in Lambourn. Her father was a Master Baker and the 1851 census records the family business was operating from premises in Newbury Street, Lambourn. A year later she married William Isaac Bravant in 1852 in Hungerford. On 3 April 1856 she died aged 35 years in Newbury and she was buried on 8 April 1856 in the family grave.
