There is no burial register information available for William Crosswell.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

William Crosswell
1804-1855
William was born on the 23rd May 1804 in Newbury, he was baptised on the 20th June 1804 at St Nicolas Church Newbury the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Crosswell (nee Mills) who were married on the 31st May 1784 at St Nicolas Church Newbury (surname recorded as Crasswell on Hardwicke Marriage Index)
Thomas and Elizabeth also had the following children baptised at St Nicolas Church Newbury:
Sarah baptised on the 25th December 1784
Mary baptised on the 5th September 1788
John baptised on the 11th June 1790
Elizabeth baptised on the 16th March 1792
Charlotte baptised on the 25th December 1793
Richard baptised on the 9th December 1795
Jane born 11th April 1798, baptised on the 28th May 1798
Thomas born 8th March 1800, baptised on the 25th December 1806
James born 31st July 1802, baptised on the 27th August 1802
Hannah born 24th October 1807, baptised on the 15th November 1807
The 1815 census of Newbury records William (11) living in Hamans Buildings Greenham Lane Newbury with his parents Thomas (50), a Flax Dresser, (worked for Mr Childs) and Elizabeth (51) and his siblings, Elizabeth (24), Charlotte (22), Richard (19), Thomas (14) and Hannah (9). (Surname recorded as Crasswell)
William married Maria Winter (aka Hannah and Hannah Maria. Maria was born in Wallingford Berkshire c1805) on the 25th December 1824 at St Nicolas Church Newbury (both were single) they had the following two children baptised at St Nicolas Church Newbury:
Thomas baptised on the 2nd October 1825, (father recorded as a Blanket Spinner.)
William baptised on the 26th August 1832, (father recorded as a Labourer.)
The 1841 census records William (35) living in Union Chapel Yard Newbury with Maria (35), Thomas (15) and William (9).
William (46), Hannah (47) and their son William (18) were still living in Union Chapel Yard in 1851, William was working as a Bricklayer and his son was working as a Farm Labourer.
William died aged 51 in 1855 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 17th April.
His wife died aged 55 (as Hannah Maria) in 1859 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 11th March.
Their son Thomas married Elizabeth Wilton in 1845 (marriage registered in Newbury), they had the following children: William Thomas c1849, John Jonathan 1852, Elijah 1855 (died aged 3 in 1859, buried in the NRC on the 16th February, death recorded as Eliza on the burial accounts) and Charles 1858. Thomas was a Bricklayer’s Labourer /Labourer. The family were recorded living in Chubb’s Yard Newbury in 1851, Back Lane Newbury in 1861, West Street Maidenhead in 1871 and Park Street Bray Maidenhead in 1881. Thomas died aged 65 in 1891 (death registered in Cookham)
Their son William was working as a Labourer for the GWR in 1861 and was lodging in St Lawrence Reading. The 1871 census records him living with his brother Thomas and his family in Maidenhead. William died aged 70 in 1902 (death registered in Maidenhead)
