There is no burial register information available for Robert Abel.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Robert Abel
c1806-1854
Robert was born in Dorchester Somerset c1806. He married Matilda Shipley (born c1813 Belper Derbyshire) in 1832.
Marriage details:
Place: Chapelry of Burnley Lancashire
Date: 16th October 1832
Groom: Robert Abel, Bachelor, Occupation, Blacksmith/Farrier 15th Kings Hussars of Haberham Eaves Lancashire
Bride: Matilda Shipley, Spinster, of Burnley Chapelry
By 1841 Robert & Matilda had moved to Newbury they were living in the parish of St Nicolas (White Hart) Robert was working as a Blacksmith.
The 1851 census records Robert as a Publican living with his wife Matilda in Pound Street Newbury.
Robert died aged 48 in 1854 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 31st July.
