There is no burial register information available for Frances Samuels.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Frances Samuels (1853 – 1853)
George Samuels was born circa 1829 in Newbury, the son of Abel and Elizabeth, nee Moore, Samuels. He was baptized on 19 April 1829 at St Nicolas in Newbury. He was recorded with his parents and siblings in the 1841 and 1851 censuses living in Newbury, in the latter he was recorded as a journeyman shoemaker.
George married Eliza Davis on 19 April 1851 at St Nicolas in Newbury.
Eliza was born circa 1824 in Mildenhall in Wiltshire. She was baptized on 18 April 1824 at Mildenhall, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth. In the 1851 census she was living as a servant in Bartholomew Street in Newbury and her occupation was a cook.
George and Eliza had six children, Alfred George (1851), Frances (1853), Kate (1854), Harry Walter (1856), Eliza (1859) and Alice (1861). Alice was born in Greenham and the others in Newbury.
Sadly, George and Elizabeth’s eldest Alfred George died aged 14 months in March 1852 and was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 3 March 1852.
The following year George and Elizabeth’s eldest daughter Frances died as a young infant in March 1853 and was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 26 March 1853.
In the 1861 census George and Eliza were recorded with children Kate and Harry Walter and Eliza’s mother Eliza Davis in Greenham Street in Newbury with George recorded as a cordwainer.
George died in September 1866 while living in Cheap Street and he was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 1 October.
Five years later in the 1871 census Eliza was recorded with her children Harry Walter, Eliza and Alice in 7 Garland Yard in Newbury with Eliza recorded as a boot binder and Harry a carpenter’s apprentice while Eliza and Alice were scholars.
Eliza died on 21 June 1880 and was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 24 June. An announcement appeared in the Newbury Weekly News dated 24 June 1880 as below.
SAMUELS – June 21, at Prince’s Place, Newbury, Eliza Samuels, aged 57.
George and Eliza’s son Harry Walter Samuels was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 9 March 1938.
George’s parents Abel and Elizabeth were buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 17 January 1859 and 8 March 1875 respectively.
