Henry Cook

c1808-1851

Henry was and Agricultural Labourer. According to the 1851 census he was born in Boxford, Berkshire.

Henry never married.

The 1841 census records him aged 30, living in the Market Place, Newbury, Berkshire.

In 1851 Henry (42), was lodging at an Inn (Innkeeper Charles Tuson) St Mary Hill, Newbury. (Possibly the “Coach and Horses” in Cheap Street as Charles Tuson was recorded there in the 1854 Post Office Directory of Newbury)

Henry died aged 43, in 1851. He was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 4th November.
