Transciption: | THE LATE MRS. STEPHEN KNIGHT FUNERAL AT OLD CEMETERY The interment took place in the Old Cemetery in the Newtown-road in a downpour of rain, the service in the Cemetery Chapel being conducted by the Rev. WW.L. Holloway, Vicar of St. Mary's, Speenhamland. The family mourners included Stephen Knight, Dr. Bernard Knight, Mrs. Wykeham Robinson, Miss Gabrielle Robinson (grand-daughter), Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Knight and Miss Helen Strong (sister). Amongst those also present were Dr. Gordon Leggat, Mr. Edward Turner, Mr. Percy Chillingworth, Mr. W. P. Wright, Mr. R. Richardson, Mr. H.H. Brooks, Mr. Hugh Turner, Mrs. Danford Skinner, Mr. Harold Walker and Mr. M. Fabry. [There follows a long list of those giving wreaths.] |
