There is no burial register information available for Edward Small.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.
This information is taken from the accounts ledgers of the Newbury Cemetery Company that originally ran and maintained the cemetery.

Edward Small
c1774-1851
Edward was baptised on the 18th May 1777 in Aldbourne, Wiltshire, the son of John and Hannah Small of Baydon, Wiltshire.
(Possible marriage for Edward’s parents, not proved: John Small and Hannah Thatcher, East Garston, Berkshire in 1767)
John and Hannah also had the following children baptised in Baydon:
Thomas, 5th February 1769
John, 6th January 1771
Anne, 2nd October 1774
Elizabeth and Phoebe, 7th May 1780
Maria and William, 27th June 1784
Possible death for Edward’s father: John, died in 1800, buried on the 27th November, at St Nicholas, Baydon.
Possible death for his mother Hannah: died 81 in 1819, buried on the 8th December, at St Nicholas, Baydon.
By 1851 Edward was a widower (no confirmed marriage found). The census for this year records him as an Agricultural Labourer, aged 76, in the Newbury Workhouse.
Edward died aged 77 in 1851. He was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 19th July
