The articles below contain information about Thomas Stillman.
Thomas Stillman (1810 – 1851)
Harriett Stillman (1814 – 1860)
Thomas was born circa 1810 in Newbury. He married on 24 August 1835 at St James in Westminster to Harriett Watts. Harriett was born circa 1814, probably in Berkshire.
In the 1841 census Thomas and Harriett were living in Northbrook Street in Newbury with Thomas recorded as a shoemaker.
No trace of Thomas and Harriett in the 1851 census. Thomas died only a few weeks after the census in Chelsea in London. He was buried 4 June 1851 at Newtown Road Cemetery.
Harriett died 10 May 1860 in Newbury and was buried 15 May 1870 at Newtown Road Cemetery. She left a will and probate was granted 7 May 1861 at London to George Stillman of Newbury, parish clerk, who was the sole executor. The value of the estate was under £100. George was almost certainly related to Thomas but exact relationship not known at present.
