WALTER FABRY

The Late Mr. Walter Fabry. 

 
News reached Newbury on Saturday of the somewhat, sudden death on that morning Mr. Walter Fabry, at his home in Caversham Road. Reading. The deceased contracted a cold, which developed into pneumonia. Mr. Fabry for many yeans conducted a fruiterer’s business in the Market Place, from which he retired some time since, residing in Porchester Road until his removal to Reading.
 
He was well-known to the sporting fraternity in both towns. 
 
The funeral took place in the Newtown-road Cemetery Friday, ece 22', the first part of the service being taken in St John's Church, the Rev A.G.P. Baines being the officiating clergyman.
The mourners were Mrs. W. Fabry, Sen. (widow), Pte James Fabry, Fabry, Pte Harry Fabry, and Mr. W. P. Fabry (sons), Mrs. Hedges, Mrs, C.L. Nicholson and Mrs Barker (daughters), Mrs. C. Tucker (sister-in-law), Mrs. W. Fabry, Jun. (daughter-in-law), Queenie and Wallie (grandchildren), and Mr. 1. Shergold.etc.
 
The remains were conveyed from Reading to Newbury on the morning of the funeral. The coffin was of polished oak, with brass furniture, and the nameplate was inscribed:

THE LATE MR. W. FABRY

 

The news reached Newbury on Saturday, December 16th, of the somewhat sudden death of Mr, Walter Fabry, of Caversham-road, Reading. The deceased contracted a cold, which developed into pneumonia.

 

Mr. Fabry for many years conducted a fruiterers business in the Market Place, Newbury, from which he retired some time since, and went to reside in Porchester-road, until his removal to Reading a few months ago.
