Transciption: | HARRIETT SWAIN Funeral of Mrs Swain The funeral of the late Mrs. Harriet Swain, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Palmer, 14, Oxford-road at the age of 69 years took place on March 26th. A short service held at the Congregational Church preceded the interment in the grave of her husband at the Newtown-road cemetery. The mourners were Mr. C. Swain (son), Mrs. Goodchild, Mrs. Tucker, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Huish, Mrs. Beard and Mrs. Palmer (daughters), Mr. Goodchild, Mr. Palmer and Mr. Buckland (sons in law), Mrs. Lovelock and Mr. Smith. The above sent floral tributes and there then follows a list of those attending who sent tokens of remembrance. The service was conducted by Rev. A. H. Fowler, the funeral arrangements being carried out by Mrs. W. Church. |
