Anne Lane was born Anne Spyers.  Her father was Anthony Spyers, a publican who lived in Donnington Road.  She m William Lane in 1856 and had 11 children.  Occupation a hairdresser, market place, lived in Widcombe Villa, Newtown road,  She died aged 78
