Jemima had at least 7 children.

FMP Census 1861 has Jemima living with husband James at Old Road Newbury with four children. James’ occupation a licenced hawker.

Four children were:

James age 6 born 1855

Charlotte age 5 born 1856

Ann Maria age 3 born 1858

William 0 born 1861

William Aldridge (James older brother also lived with them aged 35 – a general labourer) but when her husband dies five years later aged 34. Brother-in-law William ends up in the workhouse and dies aged 46 in 1870 is also buried in NRC)

FMP Census 1881 Jemima was still at West Fields but had another daughter called Florence age 1 born 1880.  No mention of Florence’s father as Jemima is a widow. However the NWN 7.2.1884 obituaries states   Florence Lilian dies in 1884 aged 4 daughter of C Aldridge SO VERY LIKELY THAT JEMIMA IS HER GRANDMOTHER

Berks Marriage Index states They were married at St Giles Church in Reading.
