William Frank Skeet

1915-1915

William Frank and his twin brother Albert James were born on the 3rd March 1915 in Newbury, Berkshire, the sons of Frank John and Selina Skeet (nee Jeffery) who were married in Devon in 1914.

William Frank died aged 1 month, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 7th April.

William’s family:

His father Frank John was born in 1880, in Brighton, Sussex, the son of James John and Eliza Skeet (nee Neaves) who were married in 1868 in Brighton.

His mother Selina was born in 1879 in Weare Giffard, Devon, the daughter of James and Grace Jeffery (nee Hartnoll) who were married in 1858 in Devon.

The 1911 census records Frank John as a Domestic Chauffeur

The 1921 census records Frank aged 43 years 11 months, as a Domestic Chauffeur, working for J. J. Dott Esq., of Court Farm. He was living with his wife Selina, aged 41 years 10 months and their son Albert James, aged 6 years 3 months, at Hillside Cottages, West Blatchington, Brighton and Hove, Sussex.

Frank John died aged 52 in 1933 (death registered in the March quarter in Brighton). Selina died aged 53, later that year (death registered in the June quarter, in Steyning)

Albert James died aged 75 in 1990 in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset
