Thomas was working as a plough boy aged 10 and later worked as a Carman & General Labourer. Annie began as a Cook to a Maltster in Eastfields, Newbury before marriage. Thomas and Annie Deacon
Thomas Deacon was born in Shalbourne and married Annie (Sarah Ann) Keeling in 1879 in Newbury. Their parents were both labourers. Thomas was working as a plough boy aged 10 and later worked as a Carman & General Labourer. Annie began as a Cook to a Maltster in Eastfields, Newbury before marriage. They lived in King's Rd Newbury and had 8 children. Source: Ancestry records.
Thomas and Annie are the parents of Edith Mary ALEXANDER. She is buried in the cemetery with her cellebrated husband ALBERT ALEXANDER.
