Transciption: | The late Mrs Wellington We announced today the death of the late Mrs Alfred Wellington who to the deep regret have her family passed away after a very short illness on the 26th inst. The funeral took place on Saturday last at the Newbury cemetery the first part of the service being in the Church of Saint John. The mourners were the husband and the eight children Alice, Florey, Will, Lillie, Charley, Maggie, Edith and Wellesley, and Mr F W Wise (son-in-law),: many friends of the deceased were also at the church and graveside. The coffin which was of polished Elm with solid brass fittings bore the inscription "Mary Anne Wellington, born Christmas Day 1848, died November 26 1913". The floral tributes where in ever loving memory of a devoted wife and mother from dad and the children; from all her grandchildren; Mr T W Cook, Mr and Mrs Baker, Alice and Mary; Mr and Mrs Winterbourne and family, Mr and Mrs Milborrow, Mr and Mrs Monday and Emily, Mr and Mrs Stevens and family ,Mr Jordan, Mr Curwood, Reg, Harry, and Chris; Mr and Mrs Cullum, Mrs Moore.
