Married Charlotte Annie TUCKER 19.11.1883 at St. Nicolas Church, Newbury

Died 25.11.1929 at 214 Newtown Road, Newbury

Home address: 68 Camp Close, Newbury

Cause of death: Atheroma and senility aged 74 years (he was actually 75)

Occupation on death certificate: Gas Works labourer and Army pensioner.

(Have been unable to find his regiment or any details of his service) illiam was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 29.111929 by J. J. Burnett — Reference in transcription book at Newbury library 10721

William HURD was the maternal great grandfather of the late Mr. A. W. Holmes
