Transciption: | SUSAN HALL The funeral of the late Mr. Susan Hall, of Railway-road, widow of the late William Hall, formerly of West-street, took place at the Cemetery, the service being conducted by the Rev, F.W. Clarke. The mourners were Mr. P. Hall, Mrs. Viner, Miss B. Hall (sons and daughters), M. Viner (son-in-law), Master Viner (grandson), Miss K. Viner (grand-daughter), Miss Annie Hall (niece) Mrs. Gibbs (niece), Mrs. H. Hall, Mrs. Purton. The polished coffin with brass fittings, was inscribed Susan Hall died May 3d, aged 68 There was a large number of personal friends present at the graveside, and wreaths were sent by the following:- In affectionate and loving memory of dear Father and Mother, Percy and Ruth, her Grandchildren, Jack, Percy, Reggie, Doris, Kathleen, Mr. and Mrs. Midwinter, Lizzie and WInnie Jacobs, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hall. The funeral arrangements were carried out by ebsrs. Penford and Son, of Northbrook street. Mrs. Hall came to Newbury many years ago with the Rev. B. Waugh. when he accepted the pastorate of the Congregational Church.
