Transciption: | GERTRUDE ANNIE SALKELD FUNERAL OF MRS. SALKELD General sympathy is felt for Mr.George Salkeld of 43, West-street, in the great loss he has sustained by the death of his wife. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, the first part of the service being held in the Congregational Church. The Rev. A.H. Fowler officiated, and in addition to the family mourners there were many personal friends present. The interment took place in the old cemetery. The mourners were Mr. Salkeld (husband), Mr. Richard Salkeld (brother-in-law), Mrs. Pratt (sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Russell (brother and sister-in-law), and Miss E. Stillman. There was a large number of beautiful flowers, the senders being: (there then follows a long list of names.) NWN 8 Aug 1929 |
