Berks burial Index has abode as Enborne Place
Eng and Wales Births and Deaths record has birth date as 1827
FMP Census 1841 Abraham is 14 and living with his family in East Woodhay (Father Abraham age 45, mother Hanah age 40 he is the oldest son – 7 children )
FMP Census 1851 Abraham born in East Woodhay is 23 and married to Charlotte Cruse aged 20 - they are living with his in-laws. Thomas Cruse Head of household age 42 who is described as a bricklayers labourer ( so it looks like Abraham could be employing his father-in-law but they are definitely in the same line of business. ) Mother-in-law Mary aged 55 (13 years older than her husband!!) and daughter Maria aged 14
Abraham is the brickmaker. They live at Chubb House Newbury St Nicholas
FMP Census 1871 Abraham is 43 and living in Crown Street, Upper Rose Cottage, St Giles Reading with wife Charlotte and niece Charlotte Cruse age 14.
FMP Census 1881 Abraham is 55 and described as a brickyard labourer - living Andover Road, East Woodhay Kingsclere Hants. – with wife Charlotte and daughter Elizabeth aged 4. Looks like they had just one child late in life when he was 51 and Charlotte was 46 – the child was born in Forest Hill Middlesex (also described as Surrey) in 1873.
FMP Census 1891 Still at Andover road – Abraham is 64 Charlotte is 60 Elizabeth is 15
Sometime between 1891 and 1898 Charlotte dies
Berks Marriage Index – in 1898 he marries Jemima Aldridge (widow) at St Giles Church Reading – at this point he is living at 40 Upper Crown St. Reading and is described as a widower and Brick tile maker .
FMP Census 1901 – now lives with Jemima in Enborne Place – he is 72 and Jemima is 67, until his death in 1911- he is buried in NRC
