SARAH TAYLOR

THE LATE MRS. HENRY TAYLOR

The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Taylor widow of the late Mr. Henry Taylor, for many years in business as a chemist in Northbrook-street, Newbury, took place on Saturday afternoon last. Mrs. Taylor had been for many years an invalid, and for some time past was entirely confined to her house in Salisbury-terrace.

The first part of the service took place at the Parish Church, the Rev. L.R. Majendie, being the officiating clergyman. The interment was in the Cemetery, in a brick grave, which contained the remains of her husband. The Rev. H.D. Newbold officiated. The coffin was of polished oak with brass fittings.

The mourners were Mr. Charles Eustace, Mr. Fred Fell Seymour (nephews), Sister Alice, O.S.B. (niece), Rev. E. Gurney Ryott, Mrs. Folkard, Mrs. Embling, (Housekeeper), Nurse Roche.

There were also several neighbours present at the graveside. Several beautiful floral offerings were sent from Mr. and Mrs. Arnold, Sister Marion and family, Fred F. Seymour, Dr. and Mrs. Watson, Mrs Embling, Katie and Trixie.

The undertakers were Messrs Penford and sons, Newbury.
