THE LATE MR. J.A. HARDING
The remains of the late Mr. John Albert Harding, of Queen Anne-villas, were laid to rest in the Cemetery on Thursday last, the Rev. C.V. Pike officiating.
Death came suddenly whilst Mr. Harding was in his own home, the cause being heart failure. Having been medically attended, the holding of an inquest was obviated.
Deceased was a native of Newbury, but left half a century ago, when quite a young man, spending several years in business in London. The last few years had been spent in Newbury, to which he had returned in the evening of life.
He leaves a widow and one daughter. A memorial service was held at the Baptist Church on Sunday morning.
