THE LATE MR. DAVID FRASER
The funeral of Mr. David Fraser, one of the directors of Edwards and Godding, Ltd, took place on Thursday last. The body was conveyed to Newbury Cemetery from the residence of the deceased, Kroonstadt, Craven-road. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. A.H.D. Newbold.
The mourners were Mrs Fraser (widow), Mr. John Fraser (cousin), Mr. and Mrs. Twort, and Mr. J.H. Godding.
Among those present at the cemetery were Mr. John Heath, Miss Rosa Heath, Misses C.E. and F.G. Heath, and Mr. Fraser (Hampstead).
The coffin, which was of polished oak with brass fittings, was inscribed:
DAVID FRASER Died Oct. 30, 1909 Aged 49.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Penfold and Son.
