Recorder's Notes | John Pullen was born in Lambourn & married Caroline Titcomb from Knighton nr Ashbury, Berks, in 1848. Both were children of farm labourers. They had 11 children. He worked as an agricultural labourer then moved to 6, Trafalgar Place, off Bartholomew St, Newbury wrking as an Ironfounder's Labourer. The family later moved to 30, Westfelds and John & Caroline ended their days at Millfield Cottage, Russell Road, living on their own means & looked after by a live-in Nurse. Their daughter, Mary Titcombe Higgs is buried nearby in P(B)6 son William in P(A)13. Sources: Ancestry records; NRC Bur Recds |
