Joseph Gregory Wright
1906-1906
Joseph was born in Newbury, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Wright (nee Kemp) who were married in 1897 in Peterborough Northamptonshire.
His father Joseph was born c1867 in Newark Nottinghamshire. He was a Brewer’s Labourer.
His mother Elizabeth was born c1871 in Bombay India. She had an illegitimate daughter Eva born c1892.
Joseph and Elizabeth also had the following children:
Frederick c1898
Walter c1899 (died aged 1 in 1900)
Herbert 1901
Dora 1903 All born in Peterborough
Eric c1905
and
Olive Mary 1907
Hilda 1908 All born in Newbury
Ellen Margery c1910
Joseph Gregory died aged 27 days, at 6 Malthouse Cottages, Kings Road, Newbury, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 7th April 1906.
The 1911 census records the family living at 1 Grafton Place, Wharf Road, Newbury.
By 1921 they had moved to Basingstoke Hampshire
