Cecilia Fanny Owen
1903-1906
Cecilia Fanny was born in Newbury, Berkshire, the daughter of George and Fanny Elizabeth Owen (nee Ash) who were married in 1899 (marriage registered in Newbury)
Her father George was born on the 23rd November 1863 in Chieveley, Berkshire, the son of George and Hannah Owen (nee Flitter) who wee married in 1854 in Thatcham, Berkshire.
Her mother Fanny Elizabeth was born on the 14th March 1876 in Swindon, Wiltshire the daughter of Thomas and Charlotte Ash (nee Reynolds) who were married in 1860 (marriage registered in Devizes)
George and Fanny also had the following children:
Gladys Edith Maud 1900
Hilda Ethel 1906
Douglas George 1910
Cecilia Fanny died aged 2 in 1906, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 20th March (abode at time of death, York Terrace, Newbury)
In 1911 George (45) was recorded as a Coal Porter, living at 1, Harrison Cottages, Stroud Green, Newbury, with Fanny (34) and their children Gladys (10), Hilda (4) and Douglas (9 months).
In 1939 George, a General Labourer and Fanny were recorded living at 22, Bath Road, Newbury.
Fanny died aged 76 in 1952 and George died 91 in 1955. (Both deaths registered in Newbury)
