LUCY TURK

THE LATE MRS. TURK.

The funeral took place on Tuesday last, at the Cemetery, of the late Mrs. Turk, widow of the late Mr. John Turk. The service was conducted by the Rev. E Turland.

The mourners were Mrs. Matthews, Mrs. John Turk, Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Johnson. Mr. W. Johnson, Mr P. Matthews, and there were also many friends the family present. There were no flowers at the special request of the deceased.

Mrs. Turk had for many years been the head of the firm of agricultural implement makers whose goods are used far and wide throughout England, Turk's ploughs being highly esteemed by agriculturalists.

Since the death of her husband she had been assisted by her son the late Mr. John Turk, who died some years ago.

Latterly failing health had rendered her a partial invalid.
