Berkeley-road, widow of the late Emmanuel Collins, millwright and engineer. Deceased had been an invalid for some time, but sustaining a paralytic seizure the end came somewhat suddenly. She was laid to rest on Saturday last in Newbury Cemetery, beside her husband, who died some 18 years ago. The Rev. John Neville conducted the service, and the mourners included six sons. three daughters, four daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law and other relatives and friends assembled around the open grave. One son was absent. he being away in India in His Majesty's Service. The coffin was covered with floral tokens, evidencing the affection entertained toward one whom her children regarded as the best of mothers. Mr. Morton (acting for Mrs. Chivers) superintended the arrangements. The children and relatives of above wish to thank all kind friends for their sympathy and enquiries.
