Jonas Loveridge
He was born in 1831 Basingstoke, Hants, son of Robert Loveridge, a Brazier, and Joanna. He was baptised on 14 June 1831. From 1851 his occupation is Cutler and Umbrella Maker. He married Sarah Jane Baker in 1861 in Melksham, Wilts, where their daughter Emma was born in 1863. In 1871 they are living at 26 Rose & Thistle Yard; Sarah is a Cook. By 1881 they have moved to Pembroke Place with daughters Lilly (b. 1871) and Rhoda (b.1879), and sons Jonas (b.1875), Frederick (b.1877) and Harry (b.1880). Another son Alfred is born in 1885. In 1891 and 1901 they are residing at 1 Pembroke Road.
He died aged 72 years and was buried on 4 April 1903.
