SUDDEN DEATH OF AN AGED ALMSWOMAN. - Mrs Hannah Cooper, an old lady, aged 81, an inmate of St. Bartholomew’s Almshouse, died suddenly on Wednesday morning.

She had been about as usual in the morning, and had helped a neighbour, but then said she would go and see after her other duties. Later enquiry was made for her, and she was found dead in her bedroom.

A doctor was able to certify death as caused by failure of the heart’s action, and an inquest was not necessitated.
This obituary entry is awaiting verification.
