Transciption: | DEATH of Mr. Richard Reeves a short time since Mr Richard Reeves of Albert road was suddenly seized with paralysis while sitting in the smoking room of the Chequers hotel from which he was removed to the District Hospital in the Andover Rd. Mr Reeves has since remained at that institution where he received the best medical attention but his condition became hopeless some days ago and he expired yesterday (Friday). The deceased was well known in connetion with local sports And had officiated for many years as a flag steward at the coursing meetings at Sydmonton and elsewhere
