Transciption: | GEORGINA RUTH MCBAIN WYLLIE THE LATE MRS. WYLLIE Very general and widespread has been the sympathy expressed with Dr. Wyllie in the bereavement which he and his young family have sustained by the death of Mrs. Wyllie. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon at the Cemetery. the officiating minister being the Rev. E H. Titchmarsh. A large number of townspeople were present, including the Mayor (Mr. Councillor Rankin), Dr. Jenner Clarke. Dr. Montagu Palmer, Mr. Catleugh (?), Mr. and Mrs. Kimber. and others. The mourners were Dr. Wyllie (husband), Mr. C Maries, Aberdeen (brother), Mrs. Maries, Mr. and Mr. P. Wyllie (Hornsey), Mr Joseph Wyllie, Mr. W. Canter (?) (Winchester). The coffin, which was of polished oak, with brass fittings, was conveyed to the Cemetery in a glass Washington car, and was inscribed: GEORGINA WYLLIE Died November 20, 1900. Aged 33 There were a large number of beautiful floral offerings of affection and sympathy from Dr. Willie and the children, Dr. Jenner Clarke, Dr and Mrs. M H. C. Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. C. Parfitt, Miss a Hodgetts. Mr. and Mrs. W. Canter, (Chandlersford, Hants), Mr. and Mrs. Penford, Mr. and Mrs. Kimber, Nurse Birmingham and the maids Charles (page-boy).Etc.
The undertakers were Messrs. Penford and Son, Northbrook-street
