Recorder's Notes Lewis was born to a stonemason in Basingstoke, Hants. He was an Assistant Draper for all his working life, leaving £500 to his widow. After a short spell in the Market Place he lived in 52 Bartholomew St, for the rest of his life. Frank Lewis Haslam Haydon had a more adventurous time in Buffalo, NY State at the turn of the centry. He had been an apprentice pattern maker and then a millwright while still living at the family home. He was registered in Buffalo with Mrs E Haydon in 1904, though I can find no marriage record. He returned alone in June 1922 and died 4 days later. Reginald followed his father as an Asst Draper apart from in 1939 when he was a labourer in the Ordnance Depot. He stayed with his widowed mother Jane, never married and lived in 52 Bartholomew St, Newbury until his death, though he died at his brother Henry John's home in 10 Madeira Pl. He left £3900 to spinster Kathleen Rose Haydon, niece. Source: Ancestry records
