Transciption: | JAMES BURNINGHAM The Funeral of the of the late Mr. Jas. Burningham. whose death was recorded last week, took place on Saturday. The widow of deceased is so well known that it is not surprising that many people were present at the Cemetery out of respect to Nurse Burningham. The polished coffin was covered with lovely wreathe and crosses, quite 26 in number. The coffin was taken to the Cemetery on a glass car and the Rev. Nigel Nash took the service. Having been a Forester for 31 years, and held office as a trustee, some twenty members of the local court were present at funeral, and the Foresters' ritual was read by Bro. J. Gillett, secretary. Mr. H. S Hanington was the undertaker.
