FORESTER’S FUNERAL
The remains of Charles William Chalk, of Gilder Square a member of the local Foresters’ court, were interred on Saturday at Newbury Cemetery.
Several members of the Order, together with fellow-workmen and his employer, Mr. Councillor Hopson (deceased having been employed by the firm of Messrs Hopson and Son) accompanied the funeral procession, and the ceremony at the grave was conducted by the Rev. C.L. Jeayes.
Deceased leaves a widow and seven children.
